Hi! I'm Meg, a quirky college student from Northeast Louisiana. I'm supposed to tell you some stuff about me in this box, so here goes...

School: I'm a senior at The University of Louisiana at Monroe, pursuing a B.S. in Toxicology. I transferred to ULM from Texas A&M University, where I was pursuing a B.S. in Computer Engineering.

Work: I currently hold three(ish) jobs:
1. I work at the local charity hospital, LSUHSC-Monroe-E.A. Conway Medical Center. Officially, I'm the student worker in the medical library. Unofficially, I'm also assisting with the LBCHP (Louisiana Breast & Cervical Health Program) grant, which consists of filing Medicare paperwork, chaperoning pap smears, and other assorted tasks.
2. I serve as part time music director at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. My duties include leading the praise band, playing guitar and singing during the contemporary service, directing the adult choir, and coordinating children's music for special events.
3. I serve as co-youth director at the same United Methodist church. [info]eastfarthing is my current co-director while my brother, who usually fills the position, is out of town on a summer internship.

Family & Friends: I have a fairly close-knit immediate family. In fact, my brother James and I live on the second story of my parents' garage (rent-free) while we're completing our undergraduate courswork. I have three younger brothers. Two are in college and one is still in high school. I'm engaged to a wonderful man,
Brad ([info]moosemcfiend). We've been together for nearly four years, and we're getting married 08.11.07. My best friend Nikki ([info]eastfarthing) is a nut, and I love her immensely.

I don't know what else I can say about myself. I try to think of all the "cool" userinfo spiels I've seen on LiveJournal, and I can't think of anything that would make mine stand out. I'm just your average Christian college student who works multiple jobs, lives at home with her parents, has a wonderful boyfriend, and spends time with all her much-cooler-than-she-is friends.

Mkay, so if you really have some time, I'm going to put random stuff about me here.
-I have a website.
-I've been singing FOREVER. My first public performance was when I was 3 years old, on my daddy's knee, singing "Bill Grogan's Goat". I have the videotape to prove it. I'm on vocal talent grant at ULM.
-I take pictures. Of everything. I have a photojournal, [info]wilted_clover, which is sadly in need of updating. As I have some time this summer, I hope to catch it up.
-I have a myspace just for the bulletins.
-You can search my journal over there.
-I'm horrible at remembering things like birthdays.
-I make the occasional icon or colorbar, but they're certainly not very good.
-I'm a facebook junkie.
-I mod communities like [info]you_el_em for students of ULM and [info]sterlington for people from/in Sterlington, Louisiana.
